Abbott offers Carbon steel balls in the soft stage with no heat treatment, as well as carburized and case hardened balls. Thru-hardened Carbon balls are available upon request. Carbon Steel balls are available in both low and high carbon content.
Abbott's Carbon steel balls are used in automotive applications, semi-precision bearings, and commercial applications such as castors, locks, and drawer slides. Other applications for carbon steel balls are bicycles, conveyors and bearings.
